It is the weekend, so we must sing. This is Keb Mo’. No matter what they may say or do, the British are secretly squirming with envy of the United States because our land and songs are ever so much better than theirs. One analyst predicts a 1-1 draw in tomorrow’s game.
Axé.
1-1 was correct and the USA was saved by Tim Howard, the goalie!
Watching the game back home in N.O.:http://www.nola.com/soccer/index.ssf/2010/06/worldcup-nola-june12.html
I watched it at Per Se, a tiny Uruguayan owned sandwich shop on Rio Nilo in Mex DF, with the owner, his deputy, and for part of the time a neighbor from Asturias. We drank coffee and we were very satisfied.
Welcome home. Wish the news were better.
I’m still in MEX! It’s just a report on how they watched the game back home.
News, yes it’s bad, but I am an enlightened being in MEX, I hope I can keep this up at home, not sure, tempted to try to extend the trip.
