I am going to Mexico and I am not driving but being on the cusp I feel as though I were, so I am singing norteñas. When I get to where I am going it will be completely different.

many songs and all different
I had not understood the song played early morning in national radio even though I had read the lyrics few days ago. It was only when my friend insistently asked if I was sad because of the song and that he would not played it anymore that I finally, in bed, understood the story. Excluded, i understand right now, is the main thrust of the story.
My advice would be not to give it more thoughts. Not worthy. Instead I would urge anyone to stand up to oneself and chose to live for whom you think is worthy. Do it now or you”ll never have the courage to do it.
Ah, but the last song is the best song, and it is a happy song.
My parents are from Mexico but my Spanish is not that good. I, however, think that I understand most of it
Is this what the Chorus says?
Yo tenía mi casscalbel
con una cinta morada
y como era de Oropel
se lo dí a mi prenda amada
para que juegue con él
allá por la madrugada.
But the last verse appears to say that she never got the casscalbel at all because the owner (singer) got distracted with so many things in his mind. So, the end doesn’t fit with the continuous chorus ” se lo dí a mi prenda amada para que jeugue con él”…… Strange
Presque porno, right?
V., I think it gets more abstract at the end. This song has a lot of versions.
C., presque porno, yes, more directly in some versions than others. Here they have the cascabel «en medio del corazón prendido.»
