The recruit at high schools – but there is evidence that they begin to profile likely recruits in middle school and the upper grades of elementary school. they look for kids who are big for their age, play on team sports and are from economically disadvanteged backgrounds.
The fact that they are profiling kids as young as 11 and 12 shows just how long they expect this war to last.
