Today, for 1.5 hours of office hours, I tutored and coached students while the 2 year old of one student screamed and was passed around among us. One of the students was particularly good with him.
In an unrelated insight I have decided that all the advice on time management is constructed and given to deflect our attention from the fact of overwork. It is not overwork, it is that we do not know how to “manage time.”
