What I thought about it: Bernstein suffered a great deal. I’m sure I’d have liked him, though. Also, he and Felicia died of smoking, I am pretty sure. She had lung cancer by 56 and he was only 72 when he had his heart attack. Also, he had been struggling with emphysema from a young age, if I have understood well. These are my mundane thoughts but also … notice how he didn’t ever stop doing his music, I envy this in everyone.
