Alguien se va al Chaco

The next thing which should be done is, impeach Bush and try him for war crimes. Do not feel sorry for him: he has foreseen this. Remember, he has bought a large ranch in Paraguay, and the Paraguayan government has extended immunity to U.S. military accused of war crimes. The ranch is next to a U.S. military base, and near an enormous water supply. Think for a moment of what he and his could do from such a location.

The reason we put people in prison, I hear, is so that the rest of us can be safe from dangerous criminals. Prison is the place for Bush and all of his cronies. They are all known recidivists, and they favor long terms for convicts, because they understand the criminal mind–very intimately.

We must also immediately begin work to repeal recent laws, including but not limited to the Military Commissions Act, which essentially nullify the Constitution, dismantle all secret and semi-secret prisons, and cancel the building of that wall along the Mexican border.

Axé.

  1. The Democrats do not seem to be interest in impeaching Bush. I would, think he is a war criminal. And I do not think the Republicans have learned a thing. They have already begun claiming the Democrats that won are not really Democrats but are Republicans. I thought of Zeus swallowing the pregnant Metis when he learned that her baby was going to be a great diety. He wins both ways, if the baby would have died he keeps his position and when he bored the child (through his head, WOW, I can go somewhere with that) he can claim ownership and take credit for anything good that becomes of the God-child. Well I do not like Aethena. So there.

  2. Yes–I’m noticing this. Swallowing the pregnant Metis, EXACTLY, brilliant! I wonder if they’ll reconfirm Bolton: if they want to improve the worldwide image, they really should not. Maybe someone in another country can start prosecuting Bush from there, as the Spanish did Pinochet.

So–from what I can tell so far, it means massive pressure has got to be put on these Democrats, and other, non-governmental organizations have to be built. They have GOT to remember to repeal these atrocious spying, torture, and free speech / treason, and detention / habeas corpus laws … and the one which allows U.S. military to be used to quell domestic unrest … and they may not remember … so I think it is time to set up some alternative groups, voluntary people’s associations, something like the sorts of things they’ve done in Mexico!!!

  3. Bush in exile might be a good place for us, Ashcroft and Cheney and Rove and Gates could go away with them too. If there room for any of the Christian preachers of hate, I hope the spine chilling monsters go and get some reprogramming in anyplace that has the historic scars of US policies such as Nicaragua or Guatemala, but I suppose Paragauy might work….oh and Ann Coulter, and the massed battalions of rent-a-hates should be expected to experience the pain of going from ignorance to just ignored. And they should be filmed trying to survive.

  4. I know, Absorbant, but Paraguay is likely to just have them join the government, and give them a lot of servants, and things like that.

And this ranch would be a good place to run a covert war from.

What they need is a Holiday In (Pol Pot’s) Cambodia.

  5. Oh, come one. Ashcroft is too crazy to go to prison. An insane asylum, yes, but prison? Of course, all he’d do is douse himself in olive oil and squirm out in between the bars anyway…so padded cell it must be.

  6. An insane asylum? No, no, no. Solitary confinement? hmmm…

Contemplating their punishment is really ruining my whole ‘no prison for anyone’ philosophy.

Maybe we should make them read 10,000 book by women of color from the southern hemisphere?
