The Church of England accepts the idea of natural selection. This is very important because natural selection is central to the theory of evolution. Intelligent design “theory” IS NOT “evolution + God,” people, and it is really important to comprehend this if you do not want the government to chip away at the right to provide or receive an education that sharpens, and does not dull the mind or divert it from its course. And many religions agree it is possible to have natural selection + God, so fear not. Remember this when you go to vote on Tuesday. I am voting Democratic.

I am as American as anyone. My America struggles for justice, peace and freedom. All the Democratic candidates here are considerably more conservative than I. But that word DEMOCRAT on the signs still means things like public education, health care, and decreased support for lynchings. VOTE for these basic items now, y’all, and we will start working on the rest of it Wednesday. Y’heah? VOTE.

And I wrote that last paragraph thinking PLEASE DO GO VOTE, and PLEASE DON’T VOTE THIRD PARTY THIS TIME. Secretly I am worried that everyone will turn out for McCain, or that the election will be rigged for McCain. VOTE. Go out and VOTE.
