I don’t remember the US backed coup of 1963, but I do remember the US backed invasion of 1965, when we were also putting Mobutu Sese Seko into the Congo and escalating in Viet Nam.

I cannot believe people witnessed these things, yet did not understand the drumbeat that led up to the invasion of Iraq, or notice the one now leading up to an invasion of Iran.
