Status: Dancing

Some websites have mechanisms whereby the author tracks his or her mood: happy, sad, pensive, or their “status:” at work, at home, at the library, in class. My current status is: dancing on Donald Rumsfeld’s political grave.

I know that Rumsfeld will probably be reappointed to some other post, and that yesterday’s victories will not change everything. I am dancing nevertheless.

Axé.

  1. Hey, let’s all do a group dance. Yipeeeee! (You think his replacement will be any better?)

I doubt it, but (and I realize this may be delusional), I think this and the Democratic gains create a climate in which it might be easier to drive a wedge (if I am using that expression right) into U.S. policies, domestic and foreign. –Z

  2. i don’t think many folks are as arrogant and mean spirited as rumsfeld- so at the very least his replacement has to be more personable. i don’t think that this changes much- other than to give us some breathing room to make some permanent changes. hopefully, this has been an eye opener for the american public. i will admit to a feeling akin to joy when my mom called to tell me last night that santorum was out and then today when she said rummy was out. i am enjoying this. 🙂

  3. yes let’s all dance…it helps me to forget that there are still puppet masters behind the scenes…

    more heads need to fall
