Now it is December. The sun is still beautiful, and it has fallen into the thirties tonight. The sky sparkles and glints on the windowpanes. People are shopping nation and world wide, but I say, if you participate in that, please do it locally in New Orleans, or consider a straight out donation. Slate offers excellent, concrete suggestions.

I couldn’t reach the link for some reason, but was able to track it down on the internet, what with curiosity piqued and all… I’ll admit how limited my musical knowledge is… I’d never heard Tipitina before… I’m now in love with that rolling piano sound and sneaky snare and the bounty bount bount bass guitar.

Watching this on a pretty Sunday morning makes me wonder how I’m ever gonna leave New Orleans once I get there…
