I had realized that the strategy outlined here was essentially the same as the ones ‘da whitemen’ use to try to pressure people into having sex … “But I am only here to help you liberate your body and mind” … etc. …
But the colonization analogy is far more apt.

Yes – but I do not always find them easy to decode. That is why I am trying to strip them down to a series of paradigms – because these games at bottom really amount to just a few rhetorical strategies.

This whiteman wasn’t white, and there were whites saying I should put up with sexist and generally abusive behavior for that reason. Why they think I should expiate the sins of my race in that way, I do not understand.
