Tondero Peruano

This is a tondero danced by students at the José María Arguedas National School of Folklore. I think it is beautiful.

In reality, of course, I am posting it because I am a “professional race hustler indoctrinating young minds with […] simplistic ideas […].” No, I am not linking to the site that says that; you can find it on your own easily enough. Just be careful to shield your young minds from my simplistic ideas when you read this site, y’heah?

Axé.

  1. I don’t want to find the site that said that about you. And anyway, it’s too late. My young mind has been filled with…oh, it hurts when I think!

  2. Those were my feelings, Spotted, but since Nezua is here and he’s a Malkin commentator, and since the site compares me to Malkin, I now just cannot resist giving up the address, it is too funny: http://www.rawdc.com/ – there are as of this moment two long posts about me in there. ! 😉

Of course shouldn’t complain, I also just got my second Thinking Blogger Award. Both of these awards prove I am a “race hustler,” though – I guess. The most recent is from the Fort Wayne African-American Independent Woman, AKA Credo, and her blog title speaks for itself. The first was from Slaves of Academe, AKA Oso Raro, and he is a POC and gay, and seems to be a professor of Ethnic Studies. I am a hopeless case.
