The Everything Test

The Stupendous Woman has inspired me to take the Everything Test, which claims to be the “one test to rule them all.” I do not necessarily agree with the results, but since I am getting some personal questions and the usual insinuations about not being “what I claim to be,” and since these results were created by the test, not me, I will share them with you.

Personality: I am more emotional than logical, more concerned about others than concerned about self, more atheist than religious, more dependent than loner, more lazy than workaholic, and more traditional than rebel. I have more of an artistic than an engineering mind. I am more idealist than cynical, more leader than follower, and more extroverted than introverted.

As for specific personality traits, I am outgoing (100%), romantic (86%), intellectual (78%), and innovative (71%).

Stereotypes I fit are Emo Kid 78%, Young Professional 70%, and Hippie 68%.

My life experience includes 48% of possible Sex, 35% of possible Substances, and 62% of possible Travel.

My political views would best be described as Socialist. I agree with socialists around 100% of the time.

Socioeconomically, my attitude toward life best associates me with the Upper Class. I make more than 87% of those who have taken this test, and 4% more than the U.S. average (this is hard to believe, but I think true – which only goes to show how broke the average American really is).

If my life were a movie, it would be rated PG-13. My “hotness rank,” however, is 81%, hotter than 98% of other test takers. (HAH!) I am in the 55th percentile of test takers for dating activity, and the 71st for sex.

I hope the curious are satisfied. We will now return to our regular programming. In my case today, this involves writing about poetry in a word processor, as opposed to on a blog. I was in a race with Undine and Lisa to finish an article, and I lost. I still want to get to the finish line.

Axé.

  1. And I quote:

“You are more emotional than logical, more concerned about others than concerned about self, more atheist than religious, more dependent than loner, more lazy than workaholic, more rebel than traditional, more artistic mind than engineering mind, more idealist than cynical, more leader than follower, and more extroverted than introverted.

As for specific personality traits, you are innovative (93%), intellectual (85%), musical (74%), horny (69%).

    Stereotypes
    Emo Kid 89%
    Punk Rock 87%
    Hippie 63%

    Life Experience
    Sex 69%
    Substances 86%
    Travel 35%

    Politics
Your political views would best be described as Socialist, whom you agree with around 94% of the time.

    Socioeconomic
Your attitude toward life best associates you with Lower Middle Class. You make more than 37% of those who have taken this test, and 88% less than the U.S. average. [ I would only add that this would be, I’m guessing, a little different a year ago, when I was pulling in the highest salary I’ve ever made…Now I’m freelance and broke, es la verdad!]

If your life was a movie, it would be rated R.
By the way, your hottness rank is
79%, hotter than 96% of other test takers.

so…i’m a lazy, horny, innovative, socialist, rebel with no cash, a few fat joints, a guitar, and a cause.

    i’m glad that’s settled. 🙂

  2. Oh, this is fun, we are both Emo Kids! I am also delighted that you are more intellectual than I am, which shows I am not so over-intellectual as some people say. I also liked coming out as ‘traditional’ – people always say I am not, and I always say “but I am moreso than you think,” and they do not believe me.

  3. At the end of Shrek two there is a little skit that parodies American Idol. All the characters of the Shrek cast compete for the new Far Far Away Idol. Simon is one of the judges as well as Fiona and Shrek (until they decide to join in the competition). The viewer can pick the winner. My daughter usually picks Puss in boots, Donkey or Shrek and Fiona.

Donkey sings the song “Burn baby burn…” and Simon says “Donkey! You’re on fire.” Which Donkey takes as a compliment and continues singing all conceited like until Shrek joins in and screams DONKEY YOU ARE ON FIRE! As in he is really on fire because his tails caught fire when his wife the Dragon blew fire.

    LMAO!

Professor, You’re on fire! Totally hot!

  4. CM: that’s hilarious!

No Emo Kid for me; I got Old Geezer AND Punk Rock.

  5. Hey how many question does that bozo have?

I’m really start to think I am indeed missing life and trying to live my life some wrong way.

    Thanks for yearing prof.

    Hylan

  6. 1. Joanna – Geezer + Punk Rock, that is hilarious! And we are both “around” 100% Socialist…! 🙂

    2. Hi Hylam/Kylam! Questions, if you mean Anon./Kundera II, it is too many questions for a person who will not even say why they ask, or explain themself off site!

    3. Hylam, What is “yearing”? At first I thought you meant “yearning.” If you do, yes, I yearn, and I’ll say provisionally (since I don’t know if that was what you actually meant) that I’m glad you like it. Missing life, yes, I missed a few years myself, or parts of a few years, living too thinly or perhaps, trying to be too conventional. But we recoup! 🙂

    4. Everyone – if you want to go on break again, you can also take this test, from the same site, using some of the same questions – it gave me slightly different results.

That Personality Test: Your Results. The latest personality test from ThatSurveySite.

    Tolerant (54%) / Opinionated (46%)
    Humble (10%) / Elitist (90%)

    Take the test!

5.a. You’ll also find a shorter one that does your ‘self-esteem’ – I was in the 91st percentile but they said that was normal – and, by the way, I am actually not sure self esteem is a useful concept.

5.b. They have one on age, according to which I fit equally well into these three age groups: college student, young adult, and adult (63%, 62%, 59%). And on your college experience, according to which I was a scholar first and a loner second. I had 58% of all possible college experiences, including 92% of all academic experiences and 50% of all social experiences. And finally, on your high school stereotype (i.e., if one were a high school student NOW). According to this I am 100% artistic, 100% SLUT, and 75% scholar – that is *so* not my high school stereotype, which would have been more like scholar/intellectual/hippie … but it is funny!

Anyway: enough parlor games for now, I am finally awake enough to get something real done. !!! Yo, Z.

  7. I tried taking the test but I had to stop. With Homeland Security and big brother running around out of control and using knowledge of what one thinks against them and being charged as the Taliban I simply could not risk it. Sorry, I know, I am a total buzzkill.

  8. I’m Emo, Geezer and Punk! And, apparently, a host of other contradictions (an Upper Class socialist? Hmmm…). Fascinating test…

    Personality
You are more logical than emotional, more concerned about self than concerned about others, more atheist than religious, more dependent than loner, more workaholic than lazy, more traditional than rebel, more engineering mind than artistic mind, more idealist than cynical, more leader than follower, and more extroverted than introverted.

  9. Emo Kid, Punk Rock, and Old Geezer all at once, Peripersonal? Yes, the test is interesting … and I would bet you have the training to decode its presuppositions. I note that so far all of the professors who have taken this test are identified by it as both upper class and socialist … ! 😉

CM – I understand why you are worried but I am sure I already have an FBI file. They will not have to decode me via this test to know I am an enemy of the state, at the very least as it has been reconstrued by the current Administration!
