Oh, this is fun, we are both Emo Kids! I am also delighted that you are more intellectual than I am, which shows I am not so over-intellectual as some people say. I also liked coming out as ‘traditional’ – people always say I am not, and I always say “but I am moreso than you think,” and they do not believe me.
At the end of Shrek two there is a little skit that parodies American Idol. All the characters of the Shrek cast compete for the new Far Far Away Idol. Simon is one of the judges as well as Fiona and Shrek (until they decide to join in the competition). The viewer can pick the winner. My daughter usually picks Puss in boots, Donkey or Shrek and Fiona.
Donkey sings the song “Burn baby burn…” and Simon says “Donkey! You’re on fire.” Which Donkey takes as a compliment and continues singing all conceited like until Shrek joins in and screams DONKEY YOU ARE ON FIRE! As in he is really on fire because his tails caught fire when his wife the Dragon blew fire.
