The Marlboro Marine

Watch this video in which Blake Miller, the ‘Marlboro Marine’ of Fallujah fame describes in his beautiful eastern Kentucky accent what it is like to kill someone and what things are like for him now.

Miller saw the people he killed as people, and does not believe it is right to kill people. Who, one wonders, counts as a person for the congressman he tried to see in Washington?

During the assault on Fallujah the duplexes on the poorer side of town here sported as many as four yellow ribbons – one for each person who normally lived in that house, but who was gone.

Now read Dambala on H.R. 1955, which has been passed by the House of Representatives, and then call your senator. Tell them to vote no. The bill is written so poorly that it should be failed on aesthetic grounds alone.

Axé.
