  1. Kind of damning evidence — but politics is a funny game filled with wrong guesses and a sense of expediency in many matters. Just due to the time she has been around she is bound to have played in the wrong political milieu.

    I think we need to see politics less as a game of proving one’s moral character, and more as a game of survival.

  3. How much actual work is it, is my question.

    I don’t know, but it will ultimately be a question of how it is allocated, I think. Also a matter of specialisation. So my areas of strength and expertise are martial arts, gender politics, Zimbabwean politics, business planning strategy (although not tactics), risk-taking and innovative thinking.

    So you would need to think about what yours were, and also think whether it might be possible for you, at some point, to take a trip to Zimbabwe.
