Professor Zero: That is an excellent list for your interests. Those programs are competitive but you should be accepted to some. Apply and see where you get in. Write a good statement of purpose and be sure to get really solid letters.
Blackguard: Apply to two schools not on your list and that do not offer the program you seek: the one where I did my M.A., and the one where I did my Ph.D. (Also study abroad where I did my B.A.) Since I have studied in these places, I can get you in.
Professor Zero (aside): I am so glad to be an honorary Anglo-Saxon sometimes, and not feel obliged to convince people I am their patron.
