This place is superior to my present location, as Ubuntu 11.04 is superior to Windows. Seriously.

This Dell Windows box I have in the office, upon which I am now typing at 5:50 PM, used to be much fancier than anything I had at home but it pales in comparison to the post-IBM laptop I bought with Ubuntu Linux preinstalled.

You’ll be amazed if you try Ubuntu — the stability, the flexibility, the efficiency, I could go on. You’ll also be amazed if you purchase some high end hardware.

I am convinced that one reason so many like the Macintosh is that it has good hardware. The lower end PC clones are flimsy and when you have something good to compare them to, you can really tell.
