The 8 AM stint was not work, but I ought to have been working then. I am going to top out today at 11 hours and it will have been:
1.5 hours grading and preparing
4.5 hours teaching
2.5 hours meeting
2.5 hours administration
Do not dare to tell me I should not be doing this much service and administration because, remember, my two committees exist to tell the legislature that what you do is work!
On this blog I am officially enjoying myself and I enjoy everything I do, muchas gracias. In real life I spend a lot of time in rather boring activities at which you may turn up your nose since they are not intellectual activities. Yet these activities will go a lot further toward materially improving your situation than would my bemoaning my lot more than I actually feel like doing.
