Louisiana 1930s

The pictures in this video do not all go with the song, since New Orleans is not Cajun. Still they are interesting. I am posting all these old songs since we are having elections soon. My former student, un vrai Cadjin de Pont-Breaux, posts on Facebook from San Francisco:

Dissatisfied with living in the 1930s as they have done for the last eighty years, Louisiana is striving to turn the clock back: first to the Gilded Age, and then further – as far back as they can manage. They will go to the Stone Age if they can. According to the Creationists, of course, there was no Stone Age, but that is beside the point.

Axé.
