Raymond B. Seed

“My own University (U.C. Berkeley) was also approached in an inappropriate manner during that same Winter of 2005-06, but such untoward pressures were simply rebuffed. That, in the end, probably goes right to the heart of what really separates a top-flight university with one of the top Colleges of Engineering in the nation (and the top-rated Department of Civil Engineering in the nation) from a university like LSU.”

Take it away, Raymond! Everyone should read his whole report, which is 42 pages long and does more for New Orleans and Ivor van Heerden than many here ever did. Van Heerden is being allowed to pursue his case and he deserves to win against LSU whose administration is one of the more unethical of those I have known. This post has been plagiarized, basically, from the New Orleans Ladder but I believe they will forgive me for spreading the word.

Axé.

  1. I will have no hair left, at the rate I am tearing it out while reading this letter.

  2. Every authority in every way was willfully irresponsible re that storm and it was planned. This is what Seed did not realize going in.
