Václav Havel is one of the people about whom I do not know enough. The Nation had a piece on Havel and Occupy, quoting interesting texts by him from the sixties and seventies that shed shocking light on the present moment. I would like to point to it and read it again.
Eventually it will become available through the University library. I will thus be able to find the recommended introductory Havel texts, even look at some in hard copy, and quote them to you here.
Here is a poem of his, though, that I came upon by chance and that reminds me of Cesárea Tinajero’s poem in The Savage Detectives, by Roberto Bolaño.
