Here you can watch Chinese movies, as revealed by Hattie. China reminds me of California but only some of these videos are in Cantonese, which is what we would speak in California. China appears to be modern in many ways, but not in teaching methodology; I think this is how the students here, also old fashioned, want us to teach Spanish.

Isn’t it strange, how different Cantonese sounds from Mandarin? Hong Kong delighted me, because some areas reminded me of San Francisco Chinatown, with the same sights and smells as in the old days and that amazing sounding language.
I would love to go to Hong Kong for that reason. Cantonese rocks if you are from the old S.F., nothing can touch it.
