I feel claustrophobic in Maringouin for good reason and I have financial claustrophobia, and both of these situations are real and not changeable by me — I have in fact tried too hard to adjust, if anything. I also get claustrophobia from being crowded, leaned on. But the root of claustrophobia is not having enough space for oneself in one’s own life. This is an illumination.
