I also sent that student this poster, as an example of a current Hispanic World academic activity around women and gender. Yes, it is only a beginning junior level course but now is the time, and this person wants to teach. More broadly, if people do not find out how to work now they will be the kind of graduate student who believes graduate school is like the military, and “breaks you down to build you up” — which is ridiculous. And there is still time to submit to this conference, so I am posting.
