I keep working, but everything takes longer than planned and I am behind. There is a lot to do still today and a long day tomorrow.
THURSDAY
Early: Write Charles and Chris; change cell phone service.
9-6: Meeting, then prepare and teach, half an hour for lunch.
Late: Finish and distribute minutes from meeting; finally listen to telephone messages.
FRIDAY
9-1: Paint.
2-4: Meeting, if it happens; also this afternoon do state income tax and call roofers.
This is officially a day off but I am behind and want to move ahead. I have two things to apply to, my annual report to write, and my article to finish — and I have to write an abstract of it to send to a conference (and if I do that, the paper I read will be based on something already finished, for the first time in a long time). I have correspondence and a minor website update.
I see no advantage to not just working on through the weekend, especially since I seem to be doing so in such a moseying way. I would like to be faster but it makes me even less efficient.
WEEKEND
Those applications; that article; that annual report; reading for class.
