I finally threw him over for Alejandro González Itañarriatu because of his film Biutiful. This is fortunate since Blank has died; had I not thrown him over I would have no favorite filmmaker now.
Nonetheless we must watch Les’ spirit rise. Let us join Les Blank, Werner Herzog, and 800 Peruvian Indians as they risk their lives — and their sanity —
