I might actually do this to a room in my house. I like the idea of installing a long shelf under a window and having that be the desk, and putting a couch behind it like that. Nothing else in the room. It solves a great deal.

Nice, but I wonder about durability and maintenance.
Whole house I don’t like, it is sort of a souped-up trailer. But I like the design of that room, like a writing balcony in a regular house.
These are too amazing! I love the spare look and all the light and light wood.
I feel another writing house fantasy coming on . . .
I like the cozy, tasteless clutter of my office.
