“I was in this course to fulfill a requirement. The course was clearly designed for students who wanted to learn the material, and there were students in it who did want to learn the material, or who were willing to do so. It was taught as though everyone were expected to learn the material. This excluded students like me, who did not want to learn the material, but only wanted to fulfill the requirement.
“I feel that there should be sections of this course designed for students who need credit for it, but do not want to learn the material.”

Axé.
That right there. That’s why I don’t read my evaluations any more.
Hang in there.
Thank you, AP! I actually don’t read them, I ask for comments to my face, and this was one. I will have to read them if I am ever to come up for promotion, though.
!
I do not read mine, either.
I’m beginning to understand why some of my professors were so glad to have me in their classes. I always cared about what we were doing.
Yep!
