The morning in review

(It is possible to live yet better.)

I woke up thinking of the career diagnosis test I took last night, which told me I should be, most obviously, a neuropsychologist, and if not, a psychiatrist, a clinical psychologist, a sociologist or a political scientist. It did not say I should not be what I am, and I am Artistic first, Investigative second, and Social third. But it put me first in these more quantitative fields, so I was fascinated and also vindicated.

Then I went on Facebook to find out what exciting insights were being revealed in my teaching group, my writing group, and my research interest groups. In the teaching group they were discussing Rate My Professors so I decided to Google myself to find out whether my Rate My Professors page would come up first.

I discovered that I have been cited a lot lately, in places I did not know — including a book chapter focusing on only three people: Gerald Martin, Walter Mignolo, and this servidora. That is unbelievable. I must do a systematic citation search and use the results to apply for a raise, I believe.
