Planning Monday, August 19

Book description: here is where to talk about the other translations.

Gabás paper: I could perhaps use Gabilondo’s work on post-imperial Spain as some kind of counterpoint.

I need to talk to Rasmussen if I’m going to make this change in the Louisiana conference schedule.

And: LASA proposals are due September 9!

And I’ve got to start working on Moro again, break through that glass. (I am still against the Boicean writing strategies. I used them from the sixth grade through the Ph.D., and they got things done but did not allow me to develop my own ideas. I do so much better on my own.)

Also: AP, that registration and an e-mail.

Sondé miroir, Legba!

Axé.

  1. Also, Phuck! LASA is meeting in SF in May, 2025 and I did not realize. And did not realize I had not been a member for some time. And renewal cost something like 200 USD.
