It is time once again to thank Nezua for help with images. This is his proposed modification of my current header image. Its use would enable me to eliminate the text box I have at the right, where I had placed the subtitle of this weblog for the time being – since the template does not have space for one, and since I had been too lazy to learn how to write on images in Gimp or Photoshop.
So, what do you think? Do you like the handwriting (although, we must note, I have not yet figured out what the options are)? Do you think the image looks better warmed up, or do you prefer the bluer tones of the original?
My own inclination is to use the original one, with the writing, here, and Nezua’s warmed up one, without the writing, on Z Blackground. Gracias to everyone, but especially to Nezua, the Unapologetic Mexican.

i’m happy to do anything to that image you like, cero. i have this bias toward warm tones in images, i am fully aware of that. but i dont mind doing whatever you need for your bloggy delightz. jes let me know. AND i have a billion fonts. so if you are thinking something else, just say so. i just grabbed something that sort of felt like your ded.

Hey Nez, I think I DO see what you see … at least, what I see at that link, and what I saw at that post, appeared to be the same … the only thing is, you have to wait a little for the site to transform itself, it goes through a little process of evolution as it comes up.
Wow – you want to work on it? Normally I have a bias towards warm colors too … and the Blackground site definitely needs them. It is why I originally did not like this header image. But now, I’ve gotten used to it. So, if you REALLY feel like playing, I’d love to have:
– a warmed up header image without the writing
– a cool one with the writing.
Fonts: hmmm, I like this one but do not know whether or not I would like a typeface-looking one better … so I’m undecided and like it well enough not to want to make you WORK!!!

And everyone – I figured out how to hide the evil Google Toolbar, so I am much happier. The university server is slow, and I am deep into raw code and very annoyed, so I forget how to do things like, hide toolbars … 😉

I like the font, in the cooler color. Whatever I have for pictures allow me all the same fonts I have with Windows XP.

OK y’all, and Bob, I’ve done it. What do you think? I like the image in itself better this way, but it is more dissonant on my screen – I’ve got this blue link color I can’t change, and then when I’m logged in, I have a blue bar across the top. Do these things matter, as you see them?
