A Sign

Dalila

This is the sign of the new blog year: I have been located by a long lost and very important friend. This is auspicious in general, but especially apt for today because it was with her that I first went to throw the cowrie shells.

Check out the ultra-cool “Mirandola, Mirandolina” and her children, and the puppy, Diadorim.

Axé.

    My word Prof:
Throwing cowrie shells eh? I know it is personal, but I am so darned curious about what your reading revealed. My sister is soon to be an initiate, but they are still unsure which orisha sits at her head. Sometimes it is Ogun, other times the trixter.

Glad to know your shadow has lifted and take care:)

    Hello Prof:
My sister is in Oakland, flits between the Bay Area and New York. She went to a bembe in Oakland a few years back and found a few Madrinas, but I guess she didn’t follow up or the timing wasn’t right. So now she found a Baba in Brooklyn so when she goes back I suppose she will consult with him.

Thanks for telling me which orishas were around you:) Have a great rest of week!
