LAPD blew it big time.
Gaddddddddddddddddduh!!!!
(sorry, I have nothing intelligent to say. Just pissed-off snorts.)
Yeah. I will paste in the link to the Democracy Now report on this below. It is pretty comprehensive, and there are other interesting videos of it on YouTube (more and more, in fact). But apparently it has not been discussed much in mainstream media, and I have seen some really nasty blog comments about it, to the tune of, let’s shoot those Mexicans with real bullets. Anyway, here’s Amy Goodman’s show:
Serious, I am a son of Southern California. Right there lets you know I am well aware of the police brutality of the LAPD, SDPD (San Diego Police Dept) and the California Highway Patrol. The rest of the country has no idea how California is such a police state. When I saw this video I was not shocked nor surprised but was mentally there seeing, smelling and feeling what was going on!
“The rest of the country has no idea how California is such a police state.”
This is the truth! And I’m from Southern California too, so: hi! 🙂
WTF?! That’s scary.
My mom just told me that whenever my relatives had a birthday or BBQ in SoCal in the 60s, they would always get beat up by the police. It seems not much has changed…
