Notice this interesting digital project, brought to my attention by Jennifer, upon which I think Momo should comment. Behind it is an engine which crawls blogs to find the emotions of cities. (Louisiana cities represented are Baton Rouge and Lafayette, both of which apparently record a high incidence of guilt feelings.) Out of this it creates a large, automatic art project.
Axé.
Thanks for sending me the link. It’s gorgeous, and we played with it for about an hour last night. I wish I had time to write about anything; too many short term deadlines in the last two weeks.
When you get out of the woods you should describe it – you have more info on this kind of thing than I and you have already studied it more than I! This little post doesn’t do it any justice, doesn’t even describe it. I think I will add a sentence to it to that effect.
this is sickly invasive, especially when you think about the application of such data, I feel like I need to post the myspace poem again.
