OBAMA, the MUSICAL, opened Sunday in Nairobi. From Mexico City they were reporting this evening at 18:46 that Obama was ahead in FLORIDA. Some of you already knew Obama was winning, and were going on with your lives. They were killing the fatted calf in Kenya. But I am in a RED STATE and it does not feel the same at all, at all.
At 9:51 PM Louisiana had gone for McCain 2-1. All the House races had gone to the Republicans and Mary Landrieu had not yet won for U.S. Senate. I could say more about this but it would not be good for my equilibrium. And at 10:16 PM Obama had 297 electoral votes and CNN was projecting his win. At 10:25 Mary Landrieu had 50.1% of the vote.
At 10:58 PM Obama had 338 electoral votes! And I have 2354 words for INaDWRimo since November 1! They need very heavy revision, and I do not count revisions as new words, so I will next post my word count when I finish this piece. My progress tally will be TOTAL WORDS minus 2354.
