Sixteen White Horses

In real life: I forgot to go the art opening Friday, as I was so tired, but spent that time in the steam room at the gym. I went home, ate Grape Nuts, and went to sleep. I woke up twice, but went right on sleeping. I overslept a major funeral and was not one of those who attended the exciting, all local football game. I should have been at the office long since but in reality I washed the dishes and scrubbed the kitchen floor. I put away some more of the camping equipment, but there remains a great deal to put in order and put away. I attended an art department party and then a dinner party involving my department, arranged by our collective yard man, who cooked fresh wild turtle. I coasted there and back on my blue bicycle. It is the weekend, so we must sing.

Axé.

  1. OK, I’ll look, then go to office.

Weekend update: on Friday I also bought groceries but was too tired to remember what I needed.

There are details on these parties that cannot be mentioned here because they would utterly de anonymize but suffice it to say I am still tired and not because they involved heavy partying. But they were very exotic, and I’ll say no more.

So I woke up Sunday still tired and now might almost be revived enough. Watch that video, a variation on St. James Infirmary by Danny Barker, it is marvelous.

    🙂
