Since I did not list my true date of birth in Facebook and cannot remember what date of birth I alleged to have I cannot answer Facebook’s security question, and Facebook will not give me an alternate security question.
Therefore, I need someone else to hack into my account, download all the notes and links, send them to me, and then delete the account. Please, I am quite serious.

Wish I could help. I have never had trouble accessing Facebook, here or in Europe. But Brazil could be different.

I think they asked me security questions in Europe late last summer, and they asked me a lot of them more recently when the Internet left my house and I started going onto Facebook in the cafe and the office. But now that I am in Brazil, they’re worse — they think I’m a Brazilian phisher.
It may be this way in Russia, India, and China as well.
Your facebook site looks fine. Not much activity there.
O gracias … I’m worried about the security settings … FB changed them, so now one is available for everyone to see, not just friends, but I can’t get on to make it more private because FB is allegedly protecting my privacy.
I want to e-mail them and I cannot figure out how.
P.S. I think I’m really screwed because of not having used my real birth date. But I tried to Google my FB page and didn’t find it, so that’s good. Maybe I’ll just leave it alone.
i can help you – where were you before you moved to brazil? you just need to log in from an IP close to where you were – this can be done using a service like “hide my ass” – or you can use TOR or other services that hide/change your IP address… you just need to find one which is relatively close to where you typically log in, then facebook will not ask you for your birthday as a security question. if you want to trust me w/ you login details, i can try through a variety of IPs and send you whatever bday you have listed once i get into your account.
Thanks David! I’m downloading TOR now, should have thought of this. I tried HideMyAss and it semi-worked except: Facebook then seems to tell it one’s browser has cookies turned off, demands to have cookies turned on. Of course that may mean FB knows they’re talking to an anonymizer. Ideas?
I’m just about to give you login details even though I haven’t the faintest who you are. I was in Louisiana before. FB got really picky about IPs when it changed its security (or whatever) recently, and would freak out if you used a different computer even if it was in the same building.

Question: HMS seems to work (it let me get far enough in to change my password) but then when you try to log in *Facebook* seems to claim cookies are disabled in your browser.
Meaning: FB seems to know you’re in an anonymizer.
