Some things to do:
– review 1 book
– resubmit at least 1 if not 2 mss., or put them together into 1 and submit
– rework departmental and own websites
– seriously prepare all classes
– visit bookstores
– rifle through current print journals at at least 1 major library
– do annual report
– reorganize computer files
I think that’s all I can fit in. Ideally a lot of housework, including reorganization of all books, physical files, and two offices would happen as well, but I do not think it will.
I think it is what I will spend my first pieces of 2012 research time on. I think one of my errors of recent years is to decide to feel this kind of thing should be done in recreational time.
