And – re not letting Carnival go – the radio is playing quiet Carnival music and commiserating with those of us who still have “makeup on our faces and feathers all over the house.”
My mother had quite a collection of New Orleans Jazz on 78s. That’s what I listened to, growing up. That and cowboy music.
