That was marvelous! Thank you so much. It’s amazing how familiar the scene is, even with fewer women and more horses than there are now.
Isn’t it great in that way?! And my two older two grandparents were adults in SF at that time, they would go along Market Street just like the people in the film.
Actually I had better call my parents — there are no family stories about what they did during the earthquake, so were they really in SF already or still in Marin / Glendale?
