Doing research this morning I got this frisson, the project is moving. I had not had that feeling of engagement and progress in a long time.
Today I worked for 12 hours: 1 on research, 9 on teaching, and 2 on service. It was a teaching day in midterms, hence the 9; we have a big service project right now, hence the 2; notice that I did research on this day and I did it first.
I got no exercise beyond going up and down stairs, and this cannot go on.

Great article. I have not finished it but it is great.
It is long. I really have to think about it, too. I need to explain it to people who don’t have the background in critical theory.
