Le log du 1 août

31 July. Did hair, discussed brow and eye dyeing, contacted dentist, talked to colleague about Spain, thought about AI, set up voicemail on phone.

1 August. Had stayed up too late, which meant a slow morning. I did a few necessary things. Cool was that I did open university e-mail and there is a home for my prison essay, and I started working on my Borrowed Authenticity essay again. I have 5185 finished words, if you include the abstract.

2 August. Felt unwell. Did some things, but in terms of work only got some writing done, about 100 new words.

3 August. Felt better and celebrated by getting some non-academic things done. Went through some papers for an academic act. Also cleared up the study.

4 August. Reviewed my text and got up to 5301 words.

5 August. 60 new words or so, I am at 5370.

6 August. Realized what I need to do in the next section of the paper, and that I need to reread Spillers and perhaps this old Patricia Hill Collins article.

7 August projection. CALL DEMAHY. Go read Cannibal Translation at Tulane. Do ILL, email Prieto and Paula, contact Gabriel and Chad, Emily and Nathaniel, see things left over from the week before last, keep on going.

Axé.

  1. Comment: there are such great advantages to reading at the library and looking things up in the library, you feel like you are in life and you find other things. I like having home be a place you can read, but I don’t favor having it as the only place…
