In the case of this particular text, my theory of writing a small amount every day is not working. It is just making me worry the thing too much, which exhausts me and prevents advancement. I know the theory is, just free write then; however I have already explained that and furthermore, I already have … More On NOT (always) writing every day
I was never a fan of these all night Latin American bus rides, that is to say these all night bus rides that are so popular in Latin America and sometimes inevitable, and every time I take one I say it will be my last. But if you arrive at 6 AM in Mexico City, … More Amanecer en el Zócalo
Glissant’s book also has much more in it on the psychology of domination than I had realized, and is in general much more thoroughgoing and serious than it had ever seemed to me the various times I had tried to work with it in a rushed way (the academic way). This post is not generally comprehensible, but perhaps it can be my last on Reeducation. The main advantage of not being reeducated is to be able to work. From Reeducation forward I could not really work, although I did a lot of work. The reason I could not work was that the minute I even … More On not being reeducated
More Shenaz Patel
