Venus Transit

I saw the Venus transit through «filtros» and a telescope at Chapultepec Castle in Mexico City. It was quite a production, astronomically and socially. This second picture is very good, perhaps the best I have ever taken. Click on it to make it bigger, and you will see. Axé.

Occupied Mexico

So far I have seen one set of militarized police, wearing ski masks in a marked truck with machine guns mounted on it. I saw another set of, I suppose, army, in camouflage, but their truck was not marked so they could have been extralegal paramilitaries for all I know. Axé.
