They, and my prison work, flow together in Ruth Wilson Gilmore. Unions and universities are institutions, and you need forms, and you’ve got to organize.

There is more to this but: we lost the revolution, and what was left were the culture wars.

And: the anti-state state, and the anti-university university. This is the key point.
